Today's look hits up the mad men trend that everyone is so bananas about these days and knowingly channels everyone's secret favourite red dress offa la telly. The ensemble works as well as a daytime cute, 50skitcheny look as it would as a nightime showstopper. What do you all think? In the words of the late, great sugababes it's Coooler than the red dress, right?

And don't we look great for it! Today's look is quintessentially romantic and frightfully British, albeit  a few too many inches above the knee, to channel kiera-knightley-style-period-drama-chic (#oospringpoemz). The simple look revolves around Topshop's finest off-white lace dress; accompanied by cutesy pumps and cutesier illustration. Today's outfit is the perfect way to embrace spring, regardless of age or face. Happy BST!

Easy like owly sundays. Today's look includes Zara's most easy to wear, quick fix brown blazer and floral funky blouse a la urban outfitters. As the freezing weather (hopefully) becomes a thing of the past and we start to welcome spring, replacing the black with blue jeans is the easiest way to make the wardrobe transition. So instead of applying for jobs, or doing any form of work that would make employment more likely, today facelesschic decided to dress like a receptionist/ teacher on a power trip, just to feel a little bit professional (and get the legs out, today was above freezing people!). The river island pencil skirt is a sure fire way to feel at least a little office chic - as well as pretty cute, it's a pretty cute skirt ain't it? Not sure how often this formality will feature on facelesschic, but at least it's another base covered. Stylin'.

Arguably somewhat more man shaker offer than man getter, today's vday chic incorporates every trend the women love to love and men love to loathe. A starry style Zara jumpsuit and a faux fur liquorish jacket gives yeti! at the disco illusion, but combined with hot pink Deena & Ozzy shoe boots and matching flower the look is somehow, posssssibly acceptable for v'day (especially if the big day is being spent with facelesschic luvin friends).

So, after being snowed off for a wee while facelesschic is back with a vengeance and drop crotchin' it large. Today's look mixes snowflake chic with office grunge. Unfortunately the so ghetto backdrop was too hard to refuse, blending in with garage doors is the way to go but make sure you ignore the bin (chic). What does everyone think of today's use of hands as face disguise? Can't decide if it's facelesschic au natural or just a cop out?! Ahola.

Well, it looks like facelesschic has fallen into the trap of wearing every single indie boi item at once and trying to make it look ironic by incorporating carl and pete into the affair... oops. On the kind of plus side, today's image is pretty much a tutorial of how to be an indeh cindeh - and in case you have been asleep for the last couple of years and are still wondering; vintage plaid shirts tucked into skinny jeans and worn with brogues is pretty much the way to go (need I mention the satchel? didn't think so). Then all you need is a NME tear out of your fave boy band and you are good to go! Maybe the libs were wrong about us never knowing.

Low and behold, it's buddah head chic day! Or just wednesday, the worst of all the days. But what better way to brighten up this bad-by-nature day than to pull out the winteriest of all maxi dresses and stand down an arched alley-way?! I would mention the fact that dress makes one look more shapelesschic than facelesschic but I just love it too much to care. Today's look combines woodstock with 70s throwback with Asianic-everyonelovestothailand and don't you just love it? What do you all think?

The Council of Fashion Designers of America has issued new guidelines that will prohibit models from strutting down New York Fashion Week's runways, if they are under the age of 16. The President of the Council Ms Diane von Furstenburg (also famous for being a fashion designer and WHO can forget that fleeting cameo in The City... Whitney Port, I read you) has announced that young models will be forced to show ID before they get on the catwalk. The Council has made it clear that fashion designers have a "responsibility", to protect young women involved in the somewhat, messed up industry. What do you think about this news? Has it been a long time coming, or will it prove to be futile? Do you think the models should follow facelesschic's lead and be provided with random shit to hide behind on the catwalk? And would covering the faces of models help the crisis that the fash pack face, or open the industry to a whole new wave of girls? Lemme know wha cha sayin.

The most chung-aphillic look to date, but it's sunday, and who can resist being a chungophile on the Sabbath day? Trenchin' it around Nottingham is a favourite hobby of facelesschic's, epesh when the trench in question is double breasted (score). Set on a backdrop of authentic street lanterns and teamed with a chocolate brown vintage bag and Van Gogh's skull with cig print, the outfit is crAZY indielicious. Oh Yeah.

Today's post is not an intentional homage to counting crows, but don't it seem that way. Thankfully the big yellow (parked car) taxi adds some colour to an otherwise grey but still great image. The Zara leopard jacket is my most favourite of all dressing gown style jackets, and today boys and girls it is accompanied by Aldo heeled desert boots and my favefave look, ankle grazer trousers. Not sure whether it's the vintage leather clutch or the arty flash that makes this outfit appear suitable for night time life, but I'm going with it.

So it would seem that for those of us optimistically waiting to be street-style-snap-happied each time we hit the town, only to be met with hopeless disappointment that our one hobby is STILL, somehow yet to be recognised by those all powerful 'cool hunters'... it might be time to throw in the towel.
